Our Ascension Values
Delivered through Moments of Delight
SERVICE OF THE POOR: "A hug. Yes, such a small thing but it made my day. I have been through so much with an ill husband who died in Sept. 2020 — grieving, stress, depression, anxiety along with issues of incontinence, diabetes, headaches... so yes, a simple hug can mean so much. I will welcome every hug I can get." —
" The chaplain literally got on his hands and knees searching for my lost hearing aid. His persistence eventually led to the recovery of the device, and it's working perfectly. Thank you, reverend!" INTEGRITY: "While I was waiting for test results, I was coughing so hard I could hardly catch my breath. The nurse brought me a cup of ice water. I was so appreciative." |
WISDOM: "The young man who took my meal orders and delivered my meals was outstanding. I had asked for a Coke with dinner and when he arrived he noticed there weren't any. But, he was able to offer me other options [that he had extras with him]. The best part is when he returned...he had TWO Cokes for me. Above and beyond and greatly appreciated. —
"My nurse sang a little song in greeting me." — DEDICATION: "Santa came through the lab, ringing his bells and it was very jolly and festive for the season!! Loved it!" |
