Mission Week is celebrated every year at Ascension. During this time, we provide events and resources to deepen our connection with our Mission and Values. This year we are highlighting “Making Moments of Delight”. As articulated in Ascension's new, unified Service Commitments, Moments of Delight are active demonstrations of our Mission, Values, identity as a ministry of the Catholic Church and ABIDE hallmarks.

As we continue our celebration of Mission Week, we will celebrate the Feast of Ascension together today, on Thursday, May 18. This day is significant in the life of the Church, marking the day Jesus ascended into heaven after his resurrection. It is the inspiration for our name as a healing ministry: Ascension.
We’ll celebrate with a 30-minute, live-virtual prayer service, open to all associates on May 18 at 11:30 a.m. CT, in addition to any ways you choose to celebrate locally.
