Welcome!
Roots of Ministry Leadership is a 6-month program hosted at the market level. If you are here, you are a participant with your market group. We are so glad you have joined us! Your full presence - body, mind, heart, and spirit - is expected at each of the six retreats. To promote full presence, we ask that you set aside some time before each retreat in reflection and to complete all assigned pre-work. For your convenience, all pre-work for, along with all relevant materials from each retreat are organized below. So that you might fully benefit from this program, we suggest you not work ahead, but rather focus on each moment as it arrives.

Exploring the centrality of the Human Person and how it impacts your leadership of people
Attend to the Whole Person
Exploring Holistic Care and understanding its deep roots in our view of the Human Person and the healing ministry of Jesus
Act on Behalf of Justice
Exploring the ways in which we build communities mindful of our ABIDE framework and influenced by our view of the human person
Care for Poor and Vulnerable Persons
Exploring what it means to offer a preferential option for the poor and leading accordingly
Ascension Acts as a Ministry of the Church
Realizing that whenever we act as Ascension, we are always and in all ways acting on behalf of the Church

Discerning the ways in which your personal and professional identity serve your team and, by extension, the healing ministry of the Church
