Gracious and Loving God,  

As we experience change, there will be challenges and new grace will sustain us as we move  forward. 

Let us pray for the gift of being able to recognize the changes that are needed in our  organization. For the gift of being able to discover the opportunities that lay before us that we  have never seen before. For the gift of being able to welcome and embrace these opportunities  with courage. 

We recall the words of the Cardinal John Henry Newman: “Perhaps in heaven, it will be  otherwise, but on this earth to live is to change and to be perfect is to have changed often.” 

Holy Lord, 

During this time of change, we place ourselves into Your keeping, 

Our bodies, our souls, and all that we are. 

In You we find respite and renewal. 

Help us to meet each day with purpose, commitment, and spirit. 

Let us be a blessing to each person we serve. 

Deepen in us a life-giving resilience. 

And guide us to see the dawn of new horizons, shining with hope.
