CML will equip local executive teams with an understanding of the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and the ability to express those principles in practice as an executive ministry leadership community.

Recognizing the distinctive view of the human person in the Catholic tradition and its implications for ministry leadership.
Understanding the breadth of holistic healing in the ministry of Jesus and opportunities to attend to the whole person in executive leadership.
Connecting Ascension’s view of the human person to our commitment to justice and the local culture created by the executive team.
Committing to the preferential option for the poor in strategy and decision-making.
Articulating ways in which Ascension is always – and in all ways – acting on behalf of the Church.
Engaging in ongoing discernment together around leading the organization as a healing ministry of the Church.

What will my time commitment be?
The Communities of Ministry Leadership Program (CML) for executive teams is a series of six, two hour-long Formation sessions held monthly over six months.
This program is meant to repeat every two years as a case-focused, team-based ongoing executive formation process. -
