We’ve coordinated opportunities across all our markets — mission-driven resources, events, and moments of connection—to inspire your engagement and deeper connection with the work that lifts our ministry.
Inspired by our Mission, Vision, and Values, Nourish sessions offer opportunities to hear from colleagues, connect in small-group discussions, and reflect on the ways we are each called to advance the work of our ministry.
During Mission Month (Oct 1 - Nov 1), our Nourish offerings will focus on members of our historic sponsors - the Daughters of Charity, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother and Alexian Brothers - and their example of serving boldly to live the Mission, Vision and Values which we all share.
Below you will find the templates for the Signing Banners to be used during this year's Mission Month. You are welcome to customize the banners with your ministry logo by replacing the Ascension logo in the top right corner. Please make a copy of the template and revise the copy.

The 2026 Ascension 5K is an opportunity to prioritize your well-being, connect with colleagues, family and friends, and move in a way that works for you.
Whether you’re walking, running, biking, swimming or participating another way, it’s a great way to celebrate being part of the Ascension community. Complete your 5K anytime throughout October, leading up to the Community Finish Line, Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
Care
This year, we are committed to elevating experiences that reflect our deep care for every associate. As our teams continue their efforts around OurAscension, we remain attentive to ensuring that every associate’s presence, wellbeing, and sense of belonging are honored and cared for. Throughout Mission Month, associates can access resources for themselves and their teams, and engage in market events that offer meaningful, convenient opportunities to feel supported, valued, and connected.
Recognition
We want every employee to feel seen, valued, and supported, knowing their work advances our mission. This month we are highlighting some of the ways we can acknowledge those who serve alongside us each day. We encourage all associates to take a moment to share words of appreciation and gratitude with one another, strengthening the connection and compassion that shape our work.

Connection
We encourage associates to reconnect with their work, our mission, and the communities they serve. Amid daily routines and tasks, pausing to reflect helps us remember the deeper purpose we are called to—why we serve and who we serve. Throughout Mission Month associates across all markets are invited to experience how we each contribute to strengthening our shared work across the ministry. Through these moments of connection, associates can renew their sense of purpose and rediscover the mission that inspires all we do.
